The theatrical trailer for Vijay's Varasudu was released the other day and it had a strong influence of several Telugu films. The director of the film Vamshi Paidipally is in the firing line over the same now.
Going by the comments of social media users on the trailer of Varasudu, they are calling out Vamshi over the heavy inspiration.
"The trailer is nothing but a compilation of scenes that are are heavily inspired from super hit Telugu films like Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, and others. This is outright poor stuff" netizens say.
Vamshi is facing the heat as netizens opine that he has simply rolled out a film, deducted from the trailer, that is a copy of scenes from hit Telugu films.
But it is very early to be criticizing Vamshi over the inspiration aspect. We need to wait for the film's release before drawing any conclusions. It isn't wise to speak against him even before watching the film.
Varsudu is releasing on the 11th of January. The film is produced by Dil Raju and it has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role.
