Nayanthara is one of the well established and senior most lady superstars in South Indian cinema. However, Nayan also had to go through several hardships at the early stages of her career. 

In her latest media interaction, the actress revealed that she was asked for favors in exchange for film offers in the early stages of her career. 

"Yes, I faced casting couch too. I was asked fr physical favors in exchange for film offers. It was a very bad position to be in. I turned down their advancements and firmly trusted in my capabilities. I never obliged to their demands" Nayanthatra said. 

The actress didn't reveal the name of the film or the name of the personality who asked her for favors but there was enough vigor in her comment. 

Nayanthara added that it is really tough to pull through as an actor in this casting couch era where there are predators everywhere. The actress warns young actresses to be watchful of the same and act accordingly.
