Venkatesh Maha asks netizens not to fire on other directors

Telugu filmmaker Venkatesh Maha spurred a big controversy the other day by speaking ill of KGF and also trying to disregard commercial films. His cheap comments have drawn a very negative response.

These negative comments from Maha were endorsed by Vivek Athrey, Mohankrishna Indraganti, and Nandini Reddy who also took part in the interview.

All these directors are in the firing line now as netizens are calling them out for speaking highly of their work and at the same time disregarding other directors' work. In this aftermath, Maha has asked netizens not to fire on other directors over his personal comments.

"There's a lot of discussion happened in that panel and the 2 mins your are watching is a clip out of the context. It makes me sad that along with me my fellow filmmakers in the panel are also getting trolled. I don't want any one of them to take a hit for my opinion. They are some of the most respected directors in Telugu film Industry, and I humbly request you all to protect that." The director wrote on social media.

Netizens are now asking why Venkatesh Maha had to make such rude comments in the first place and then having to apologize for the same and having to ask netizens not to mock his compatriots for his acts.
