RRR has done the unprecedented as it has actually gone on to achieve the incredible feat of winning an Oscar award. The Naatu Naatu song from the film has achieved the feat at the presentation ceremony today.

Now that RRR has won the mighty Oscars, there will be a lot at stake for Rajamouli's next, which is of course with Mahesh Babu - SSMB29.

Coming to SSMB29, it will enjoy the prospect of being the most anticipated film globally right from the day of its launch. This should come as a huge boost to Mahesh Babu who has been raring to work with Rajamouli for a long time now. 

There will be a lot of anticipation on SSMB29 from day 1 and Mahesh couldn't have asked for a better start for his next project than it being a Rajamouli directorial and more so, after the big Oscars win for RRR.

SSMB29 will be one of the costliest projects ever in Indian cinema and stakes are exceptionally high on the same. The film is set to commence the production by the end of this year.
