Pawan Kalyan came up with a very interesting speech today while speaking about the current political climate in Andhra Pradesh and he was very candid about it as he pointed out that he is not a CM candidate.
In the interaction with the media, Pawan commented about how he doesn't see himself as the CM candidate in AP.
"When I go down to meet TDP leaders, they say I shouldn't meet them and even if I do, I should ask for the CM candidate post if I am to join their alliance. This isn't the right thing to do. JanaSena contested in 137 MLA seats and didn't even win 30-40. So, there's no ground for me to ask for CM candidature" Pawan said.
Pawan went on to point out that it wouldn't be right for him to ask the BJP and TDP troops to give him the CM candidature by not even winning notable number of MLA seats.
Pawan added that the demand for CM seat should come from a position of power once he wins the needed number of seats but it shouldn't be the condition for him to form an alliance in Andhra Pradesh. He says safeguarding Andhra Pradesh is more important for him than the CM seat.
