Siddharth, who shot to fame with several hits like Bommarillu, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, will be seen in next in a Tamil-Telugu action romance titled Takkar. Divyansha plays the female lead in the film, written and directed by Karthik G Krish. Takkar is jointly produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts in collaboration with Passion Studios.
The film is all set to release in theatres on June 9, revealed the makers. The teaser of Takkar, two songs from the film, Kayyale, Pedhavulu Veedi Maunam, which has music by Nivas K Prasanna, opened to good responses and has contributed to its buzz. Takkar takes us through the highs and lows in the relationship between a poor boy and a rich girl. While the guy is a hard-core romantic, the girl, despite liking him, doesn’t believe in the idea of love and marriage.
Siddharth, with beard under his chin, will be seen in a new look in the film while the lead actress Divyansha is a familiar face in Telugu with films like Majili, Ramarao on Duty, name a few. Takkar promises to revamp Siddharth’s image as an action hero and unveil a new dimension to him as an actor. The action romance will be out in theatres in Tamil and Telugu on June 9.
Abimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth play other important roles in the film. Nivas K Prasanna scores the music. Vanchinathan Murugesan cranks the camera and GA Gowtham is the editor. People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts scored big hits in their previous collaborations like Karthikeya 2 and Dhamaka.
