Tollywood veteran Sarath Babu passes

Veteran Tollywood actor Sarath Babu has sadly passed away a few hours ago following a multi organ failure. The tragic news was conirmed by his family members to the media some time back.

Sarath Babu was admitted to the AIG hospital in Hyderabad on the 20th of April and he had been receiving medical attention at the facility ever since.

But sadly, the condition kept deteriorating at an alarming rate and Sarath had sadly passed away just a few hours ago. His mortal remains will be kept at his house for public viewing and the final rites will be held tomorrow or the day after.

Tollywood is now mourning the passing of the veteran actor who made his debut with Ramarajyam back in 1973.

He was born on 31 July 1953 in Srikakulam district. He had acted in several films as the male lead and also as a supporting actor.

"Sarath Babugaru is a great actor who has earned special recognition in the Telugu film industry by playing all kinds of roles as protagonist, villain and supporting actor. It is sad to see him leave this world today. My deepest condolences to Sarath Babu's family members" AP CM Jagan tweeted about the passing.
