CBN resumes Polavaram inspection in 1 week

One of the prime initiatives of Chandrababu Naidu in his 4th term as CM has been the fast-tracking of the Polavaram project and he has started his work already. He resumed the famous Somavaaram-Polavaram program today and he received a grand welcome at the dam site.

Naidu arrived at the Polavaram sight in a helicopter and carried on with the inspection. He was then seen boarding a bus to get to the distinct portions of the Polavaram project.

Naidu was welcomed by the Water Resources Minister, a true blue mass leader Nimmala Rama Naidu, JSP leader Kandula Durgesh, and other BJP leaders.

Naidu first inspected the Polavaram project from Hill View Point and then went on to inspect the spillway works. He will be spending the entire working day at the Polavaram dam site and getting accurate feedback from the authorities.

After the inspection, Chandrababu said Polavaram has witnessed extremely high number of irregularities in the YCP tenure and he called for fast-tracked construction and assembling.
