Too much nepotism flavour in Bollywood awards?
  • 22 Feb 2023 12:17 PM

There has been a long standing debate that all the awards pertaining to Indian cinema are mostly dominated by products of nepotism in Bollywood.

Fiery actress Kangana Ranaut has opened up about the same as she reacted indirectly in the context of the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards. She reacted to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt receiving the awards.

Awards season is here and nepo mafia is at it again, snatching all awards from the deserving talent. Here’s a list of some of those who displayed volcanic artistic brilliance and owned 2022, Kangana tweeted

Best Actor -Rishab Shetty ( Kantara)
Best Actress-Mrunal Thakur ( Sita Ramam)
Best director- SS Rajamouli ( RRR)
Best supporting actor- Anupam Kher ( Kashmir Files)
Best supporting actress- Tabu ( Drishyaman/Bhool Bhulaiya)

Bolly awards are a big sham … when I get some time from my schedule I will make a list of all those I feel are deserving … thanks, Kangana concluded.

The actress is clearly posting at the nepotism flavour in Bollywood awards and she has taken an indirect dig at the same.
