Astrologer Venu Swamy has come under intense scrutiny following his controversial prediction about the future of Naga Chaitanya and Shobita Dhulipala. Shortly after the couple’s engagement was announced, Venu Swamy claimed that their birth charts indicate a possible divorce in 2027.
This prediction has drawn strong criticism from the Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) and the Telugu Film Digital Media Association (TFDMA), who have lodged formal complaints with the police and the Telangana Woman Chairperson, condemning the astrologer's actions.Amid this uproar, Venu Swamy's wife, Veena Srivani, has further fueled the controversy by targeting Naga Chaitanya on social media. In a video posted yesterday, she refrained from addressing her husband's actions and instead criticized media practices. Today, she made a more direct request to Chaitanya, asking for a luxury gift—a Louis Vuitton bag—while acknowledging the engagement of Naga Chaitanya and Shobita Dhulipala.
Critics have pointed out the irony of Veena Srivani’s approach, questioning why she has not addressed the ethical issues surrounding her husband's prediction, particularly given the sensitive nature of discussing someone’s potential marital future immediately following their engagement. The situation continues to evolve, with public and media reactions highlighting the broader implications of such personal and speculative commentary.
