Rumors of a conflict within the Manchu family gained traction when actor Manchu Manoj reportedly approached the police to file a complaint against his father, Mohan Babu, alleging an attack. However, Manoj has denied these rumors, clarifying that the complaint was not against his father or any family member.

According to a statement by Pahadi Shareef CI Guruva Reddy, Manoj filed a complaint about an attack involving around ten unidentified people who reportedly barged into their house, shouted at them, and attacked Manoj. Manoj claimed that he tried to catch the attackers but was injured in the process. He also mentioned a threat to his and his family's safety.

Manoj did not disclose the identities of the attackers and did not explain why only he was injured. Furthermore, he accused a person named Kiran Reddy Vijay Reddy of being responsible for the missing CCTV footage related to the incident.

CI Guruva Reddy confirmed that the police responded quickly to the 100-dial call and are investigating the matter further.
