National Indian Film Festival 2025 to Showcase Indian Cinema Across Australia

The National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NIFFA), a groundbreaking celebration of Indian cinema, is set to captivate Australian audiences from February 13th to March 2nd, 2025. With support from the Indian High Commission, Indian Consulates, and esteemed organizations like the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and SBS, NIFFA will showcase a diverse spectrum of Indian films across major Australian cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra.

The festival boasts a distinguished Nomination Council comprising prominent Indian film professionals such as Achala Datar, Deepti Sachdeva, Neeru Saluja, and Amruta Apte. This diverse panel ensures a curated selection that reflects the richness and diversity of Indian cinema beyond Bollywood, encompassing independent films, regional cinema, and more.

The National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) is contributing a special curated section of films, further enriching the festival's offerings. Key partners like Dendy Cinemas and SBS Audio are playing vital roles in bringing this cinematic celebration to life.

NIFFA aims to:
