The much-anticipated teaser for L2: Empuraan, the third film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, has finally been released, building immense excitement among Malayalam cinema fans. The 143-second teaser offers a glimpse into a much darker and more brutal continuation of the story from Lucifer, starring Malayalam megastar Mohanlal in the lead role. The teaser opens in the war-ravaged town of Qaraqosh, Iraq, setting a tense atmosphere, with a foreboding message of "Death to the Evil."
The story picks up with a powerful flashback from the first film, where advice is given to Priyadarshini (played by Manju Warrier), setting the stage for Stephen Nedumpally’s (Mohanlal’s character) return. The teaser hints at his long absence with his iconic black Ambassador car, now covered in dust. The dramatic reveal shows Stephen as a powerful mercenary leader, leading the most formidable group in Asia.
