Khakee: The Bengal Chapter to Star Jeet & Prosenjit Chatterjee

Netflix’s 2025 lineup brings exciting new content, and one of the most highly anticipated shows is Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. Directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, the series stars Bengali superstars Jeet and Prosenjit Chatterjee in a never-before-seen collaboration. Set in 2000s Kolkata, the gritty crime drama follows an IPS officer, portrayed by Jeet, as he battles the powerful influence of gangsters and politicians to restore law and order. Prosenjit Chatterjee, known for his dynamic roles, is reported to play a politician, adding an intriguing layer to the plot.

The star-studded ensemble also features Parambrata Chatterjee as another police officer, along with Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Khan, Chitrangada Singh, and others in key roles. Neeraj Pandey, the mastermind behind the series, shares the writing duties with Debatma Mandal and Samrat Chakroborty. In a statement, Pandey expressed his excitement about collaborating with Netflix once again, saying Khakee: The Bengal Chapter showcases a culturally rich region, highlighting Kolkata's vibrant streets and the complex world of crime and politics.

This marks the first time Jeet and Prosenjit have appeared together on screen, though they previously worked together in the 2022 film Aay Khuku Aay, which was produced by Jeet. Prosenjit Chatterjee, who also starred in the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime series Jubilee, brings his vast experience to this intense cop thriller, which promises a unique and gripping narrative that will appeal to fans of action-packed drama and thrilling crime stories.
