However, it was Neetu Kapoor who eventually came up with the name Raha.Alia explained, “My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mum, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It will go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a girl and a boy, both will be a really good combination.’ She even suggested a girl and girl name combination. Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha.”While Alia refrained from revealing the boy's name they had chosen, she expressed gratitude for Neetu Kapoor’s thoughtful suggestion, as it deeply resonated with both her and Ranbir.

In Bangla, it means comfort and relief. In Arabic, it means peace. It also stands for happiness, freedom, and bliss."
Alia further expressed the emotional connection they felt when Raha was born. “And true to her name, from the first moment we held her, we felt it all! Thank you, Raha, for bringing our family to life. It feels as though our lives have only just begun.”
