The much-awaited film ‘Thug Life’, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam, has set the stage for a grand cinematic experience with the release of its first single, ‘Jingucha’. The song was launched at a dazzling event that featured the film’s core team, including A.R. Rahman, who composed the music, and Kamal Haasan, who wrote the lyrics for the track.

Produced under the banners of Raj Kamal Films International, R. Mahendran, Madras Talkies, and Shiva Ananth, the movie is gaining massive traction nationwide. The peppy and celebratory track ‘Jingucha’ is already making waves, especially among fans looking for catchy tunes for weddings and festive occasions.

The film stars Kamal Haasan as Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakkar and features a powerful ensemble cast, including Simbu, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Ashok Selvan, Abhirami, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, and Sanya Malhotra.

The film’s audio rights have been bagged by Saregama, and Netflix has secured its digital streaming rights, adding to the anticipation.Adding more excitement to the film's promotion, the makers have announced the Thug Life Festival in partnership with Just Grow Productions, to be held in Sydney, Australia, on May 23, 2025. The musical night will feature a live performance by A.R. Rahman.

With its worldwide theatrical release scheduled for June 5, 2025, and a power-packed team of India’s finest talents, ‘Thug Life’ promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
