Raveena Tandon To Portray Modi’s Mother Heeraben In Pan-India Biopic Maa Vande

A powerful new biopic titled Maa Vande has been announced, chronicling the inspiring journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from his early childhood to his rise as the nation’s leader. Directed by Kranthi Kumar CH, the film carries the tagline The Anthem of a Mother and centers on the deep and emotional bond between Modi and his mother, Heeraben. The movie aims to highlight how Heeraben’s values, resilience, and simplicity played a crucial role in shaping her son’s character and guiding him through life’s challenges, particularly after his father’s passing.

Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has been roped in to portray Narendra Modi, bringing both authenticity and emotional depth to the role. He shared that growing up in Ahmedabad during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister made the opportunity even more meaningful. Unni emphasized that Maa Vande will explore “the man beyond the statesman,” showing the human side of Modi through his connection with his mother. Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon takes on the pivotal role of Heeraben Modi, marking one of her most emotionally resonant performances. Her portrayal is expected to bring both strength and warmth to the narrative, capturing the essence of maternal love that shaped one of India’s most influential leaders.

Produced by Veer Reddy under the banner of Silver Cast Creations, Maa Vande is envisioned as a grand pan-India production. The film features an impressive technical team, including cinematography by K.K. Senthil Kumar, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Sreekar Prasad, production design by Sabu Cyril, and action choreography by King Solomon.
