Sharwanand’s Pan-India Action Drama Titled Bhogi : Shooting Begins with High-Octane First Spark

Actor Sharwanand, stepping into never-before-seen territory, is all set to headline a gritty, action-packed pan-India film titled Bhogi. Directed by Sampath Nandi, the high-voltage action drama kicked off its shoot on Wednesday, and the makers marked the occasion by unveiling a power-packed teaser titled ‘First Spark’. Director Sampath Nandi shared the explosive motion teaser and captioned it:
"Every drop of blood has a reason. Every fest carries a purpose. And #SharwaSampathBloodFest has a BLOODY name etched into it BHOGI Sharwa38 First Spark out now. SHOOT STARTS TODAY.

The ‘First Spark’ teaser does full justice to that statement. In its brief runtime, the clip delivers a visual punch with its raw, blood-drenched tone. It features ominous elements such as a hand inscribing “A blood fest” and a chilling sequence of a machete being forged establishing that Bhogi will be a high-octane, visceral cinematic ride.

Known for his charming, romantic and emotional roles, Sharwanand is entering new territory with Bhogi, his first-ever pan-India film. In this bold venture, he has undergone a dramatic transformation to fit the rugged, intense world of the film. Set in the late 1960s along the North Telangana–Maharashtra border, the movie dives into a time and region rarely portrayed on Indian screens a harsh world defined by bloodshed, power struggles, and survival against the odds. The storyline promises to explore raw emotions and violent encounters, brought to life through carefully recreated rural backdrops. The team has emphasized historical authenticity, crafting sets and locations that reflect the texture, look, and social environment of the 1960s with striking precision.

The film stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, while Dimple Hayathi takes on a significant role that is expected to have a major impact on the narrative. Both actresses bring versatility to the cast, setting the stage for emotional and high-stakes drama. Bhogi is being produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, with production scale and technical standards aimed at setting new benchmarks for Telugu cinema. Director Sampath Nandi, known for delivering commercial blockbusters, brings his trademark energy and intensity to this project. From visual aesthetics to sound design, every technical department on Bhogi has been carefully curated.

  • Cinematography: Handled by Soundar Rajan S, whose frames are expected to capture both the brutality and beauty of the film’s period setting.

  • Music: Composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, the score is expected to be raw and emotionally resonant.

  • Production Design: Spearheaded by Kiran Kumar Manne, ensuring a rich recreation of the 1960s rural heartland.

Adding to its grandeur, Bhogi is set to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, reflecting the makers’ vision of reaching a wide national audience. As Telugu cinema continues to gain traction across India and abroad, Bhogi positions itself as the next potential breakout success story. With its bold visuals, intense narrative premise, and a powerful star-crew collaboration, Bhogi is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action dramas of 2025–2026. The First Spark teaser has already ignited interest and set social media abuzz, and as production rolls ahead, fans can expect more glimpses into the world of violence, valor, and vengeance that Bhogi promises to deliver.
