Hari Hara Veera Mallu on Prime Video: OTT Version with Trimmed Sequences and New Changes

Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated film Hari Hara Veera Mallu made its debut on Amazon Prime Video today, less than a month after its theatrical release. The film is available for streaming within just 27 days of its big-screen premiere, but there's a twist: the version released on OTT is a trimmed one, significantly shorter than the original theatrical cut.

When the movie was first released in theatres, it faced heavy criticism, especially for a few sequences that featured subpar VFX. In response to the backlash, the makers corrected the VFX shots and released a new version of the film in theatres. However, the OTT release skips some of these controversial sequences altogether, including the much-discussed horse riding scene and the shot where Pawan Kalyan shoots an arrow while jumping in the air.

Changes in Climax and Sequences

Netizens have pointed out that the OTT version also features changes to the film's climax. The movie now ends with a Part 2 announcement immediately after the Asura Hananam song, and several dialogue and action sequences involving Bobby Deol have been trimmed. The final runtime for Hari Hara Veera Mallu on Prime Video is 153 minutes, significantly shorter than its original theatrical version.  For those who missed the film's theatrical release, this updated version is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
