Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared rare black-and-white family photographs with daughter Dua while celebrating her second birthday.
Deepika-Ranveer Celebrate Dua’s Second Birthday
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have delighted fans by sharing a collection of intimate family photographs featuring their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. The pictures were unveiled as the couple celebrated Dua’s second birthday on September 8, offering followers a rare look at their closely guarded family life.
The black-and-white photographs capture tender moments between Deepika, Ranveer and their daughter. One picture reportedly shows the couple standing close together as Ranveer gently holds Deepika’s growing baby bump. The actors appear relaxed and affectionate, with their foreheads touching as they smile for the camera.
Another image brings Dua into the frame between her parents. The little girl is seen playfully covering her face while Deepika and Ranveer crouch beside her. The couple have largely protected Dua from public attention since her birth, making the new photographs especially meaningful for fans.
Deepika-Ranveer Prepare to Welcome Their Second Child
The family photos have also drawn attention to Deepika’s second pregnancy. The actress wears a fitted lace ensemble that highlights her baby bump, while Ranveer appears in a simple white shirt and matching trousers. The monochrome treatment gives the photographs an elegant and timeless quality.
Deepika and Ranveer announced earlier in 2026 that they were preparing to become parents again. Their announcement featured Dua holding a pregnancy test while her parents’ hands appeared around hers. The latest photoshoot marks another chapter in the family’s journey as they look forward to welcoming their second child.
The couple welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024. Since then, they have shared only limited glimpses of their daughter, choosing to protect her privacy while occasionally posting updates about parenthood.
Their latest post reflects that same approach. Although Dua appears in the family frame, the playful pose keeps her face largely hidden. The photograph allows the couple to celebrate the occasion publicly without fully removing the privacy they have maintained around their daughter.
Deepika-Ranveer’s Pictures Win Fans’ Hearts
The warm photographs quickly attracted attention across social media, with admirers praising the couple’s chemistry and their joyful family moment. Ranveer accompanied the images with a short message indicating that baby Dua and their hearts were growing bigger, while thanking followers for their blessings.
The post carried added emotional value because it combined two major family milestones: Dua’s second birthday and the couple’s journey towards becoming a family of four. Instead of staging a colourful birthday display, Deepika and Ranveer chose a restrained maternity-style photoshoot centred on affection and togetherness.
Fans also admired Deepika’s maternity look. Her fitted lace outfit offered a departure from loose silhouettes often associated with pregnancy fashion, while Ranveer’s understated styling ensured that the family’s emotions remained the focus.
Deepika-Ranveer Balance Parenthood and Film Careers
Deepika and Ranveer continue to balance their growing family with major professional commitments. Deepika is associated with Siddharth Anand’s King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, and Atlee’s science-fiction action project Raaka, led by Allu Arjun.
Ranveer, meanwhile, is reportedly working on Pralay in Mumbai. Despite their demanding schedules, the actors have continued to mark important family occasions while keeping their children away from excessive media exposure.
The couple married in 2018 after being in a relationship for several years. Their transition from one of Bollywood’s most popular on-screen and off-screen pairs to parents has remained a subject of interest among fans.
The newly released photographs present a personal side of the stars that audiences rarely see. With Dua’s playful presence, Deepika’s maternity glow and Ranveer’s affectionate gestures, the pictures have become a heartwarming celebration of parenthood, privacy and a family preparing for its next chapter.
