Karthik Rathnam and Prudhvi Raj launch the Teaser of latest Telugu film ‘Therachaapa’

The upcoming Telugu film Therachaapa marked a major milestone with the launch of its teaser in a star-studded event graced by actor Karthik Rathnam and senior comedian ‘30 Years’ Prudhvi Raj. The event brought together cast, crew, and well-wishers to celebrate the hard work behind the film, which is directed and written by Joel George and produced by Kailash Durgam under the Ananya Creations banner.

The teaser gave audiences a sneak peek into what promises to be a powerful mass entertainer rooted in local culture with Tamil cinematic influences. Speaking at the event, the guests shared their impressions and words of encouragement for the team.
Director Nagi, present at the event, spoke highly of the project despite not knowing all the cast or crew personally. “I may not know the entire team, but the teaser reflects passion and sincere effort. I believe this film is built on solid content. From what I’ve seen, I’m confident that Therachaapa will become a success,” he noted, offering a strong endorsement for the crew’s dedication.

Renowned comedian ‘30 Years’ Prudhvi Raj shared heartfelt praise for lead actor Naveen Raj Shankarapuu. Drawing comparisons with Tamil superstar Vikram, Prudhvi Raj said, “Naveen’s hard work is clearly visible. He pushed himself so hard that he landed in the hospital. That shows immense dedication. He reminds me of Vikram, who transforms himself for roles. I’m sure Naveen will grow to be a committed actor like him in Tollywood. I sincerely wish him the recognition he truly deserves.”

Director Joel George, who also penned the story and screenplay, explained the thought process behind Therachaapa. “We envisioned this film as a mass entertainer with a touch of Tamil culture and aesthetics. Viewers will definitely notice this influence throughout the film. The team worked relentlessly both cast and technicians and the final output has turned out brilliantly. I’m confident audiences will receive it well,” he said. Producer Kailash Durgam, making his debut in the film industry, expressed gratitude to the media and his team. “This is my first project in cinema, and I’ve placed my full trust in this team. I want to thank everyone who supported us. From day one, I had faith that Therachaapa would emerge as a hit. And now, with the teaser out, I’m more confident than ever.”

Lead actor Naveen Raj Shankarapuu also made an emotional statement at the event, beginning by addressing his concern over the recent Kashmir terror attack. “Before talking about the film, I want to say how disturbed and angry I am about the terror attacks in Kashmir. I hope our forces deliver a strong message to those behind it,” he said. Turning to the film, Naveen added, “Our producer has invested over 3 crore rupees in me purely on trust. That’s a huge responsibility, and I’ve done everything in my power to deliver. I can confidently say the film will be a big success. The teaser is only a glimpse of what we’ve achieved.”

Actor Karthik Rathnam, who also attended the event, expressed his admiration for the teaser and his close bond with Naveen. “I had another event today, but I made it a point to be here for Naveen. I’ve seen the teaser it’s powerful. The direction, music, and background score are all top-class. I’ll always support Naveen and wish the entire team the very best,” he said.
