Netflix has officially announced the premiere date of the much-anticipated Squid Game Season 3. The survival thriller that captured global attention with its gripping narrative and shocking plot twists is set to make a return on June 27, 2025. The teaser, which dropped this morning, reveals the return of player 456 Seong Gi Hun who appears to be rising from the dead for one last round in the deadly game.

Originally launched in 2021, Squid Game was a runaway hit for Netflix and quickly climbed the ranks to become the most-watched series on the platform. Its dystopian theme, emotional depth, and intense survival drama resonated with a global audience. The first season’s success was unprecedented, breaking viewership records and becoming a pop culture phenomenon.
