Vishwaksen’s upcoming telugu film #CULT launches with 40 debuts and Global vision
Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen, the multi-talented actor-director-writer, has launched his most ambitious project yet #CULT, a bold, new-age party thriller inspired by true events. With his earlier successes like Falaknuma Das and Das Ka Dhamki, Vishwaksen has carved a unique space for himself in Indian cinema, and with #CULT, he’s aiming for a global cinematic experience. The film is being produced by Karate Raju and Sandeep Kakarala under the banners of Tarak Cinemas and Vanmaye Creations.

#CULT was officially launched today in a grand pooja ceremony held at Ramanaidu Studios. The launch event witnessed the presence of major personalities from the Telugu film industry. S Radha Krishna (Chinna Babu) unveiled the title logo, Talasani Srinivas Yadav switched on the camera for the muhurtham shot, and Allu Aravind sounded the clapboard. With the ceremony concluded, the film’s regular shoot has officially begun today. Described as a genre-defying, party thriller, #CULT aims to push the boundaries of storytelling. The announcement poster itself reflects the tone: a character wearing a goat mask amidst flying confetti, lights, and revelry a clear hint that this thriller comes with an offbeat and wild twist. Unlike conventional formats, #CULT promises to explore a new narrative style with stylized visuals and unpredictable plot lines.
One of the biggest highlights of #CULT is that Vishwaksen is introducing 40 newcomers to the silver screen through this film. This is a bold move that underlines his commitment to nurturing fresh talent in the industry. While Vishwaksen handles the direction and story, he has assembled an exceptional crew of seasoned technicians to back his creative vision.

Tharun Bhascker, the acclaimed director of Pelli Choopulu, is writing the dialogues, adding his quirky, contemporary voice to the narrative. Ravi Basrur, celebrated for his thundering background scores in KGF and Salaar, will handle the music. The visuals will be crafted by cinematographer Arvind Vishwanathan, editing will be managed by Ravi Teja Girijala, and Arvind Mule will oversee production design and art direction. With high production values, #CULT is aiming far beyond regional or national success. The movie is being planned as a global release in Telugu, Hindi, Japanese, Spanish, and English, making it one of the most widely targeted Indian films in recent times.
