The upcoming Telugu movie Anaganaga Oka Raju is set for a Sankranthi 2026 release

After delivering three consecutive blockbusters, Naveen Polishetty is back with a fresh dose of his signature humor in his upcoming film Anaganaga Oka Raju. The film has officially locked its release date as January 14, 2026, just in time for the Sankranthi festival, promising a full-on family entertainer for the festive season.  The announcement came with a vibrant poster that sets the mood for a colorful celebration, reflecting the film's lighthearted and festive tone. Meenakshi Chaudhary, one of the most sought-after actresses in Telugu cinema right now, plays the female lead.

Anaganaga Oka Raju is produced by Naga Vamsi under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. These production houses have a reputation for backing consistent box office winners — including the recent Sankranthi hit Daaku Maharaaj. With this lineup, expectations are already high for another festival success in 2026. What adds to the buzz is that the story and screenplay are co-written by Naveen Polishetty himself, collaborating with a fresh team of writers. This marks a significant creative expansion for the star, known for combining humor with emotionally engaging scripts.

The film is being directed by debutant Maari, who is stepping into the Telugu industry with a story that promises laughter, family moments, and celebratory vibes, making it a perfect Sankranthi watch. With its release timed strategically for one of the biggest festive slots in the Telugu calendar, and with Naveen’s proven box office appeal, Anaganaga Oka Raju is expected to be a frontrunner in the Sankranthi 2026 race.
