This Dussehra, fans of the God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna are in for a powerful cinematic treat. 'Akhanda 2: Tandavam', the high-voltage sequel to the blockbuster 'Akhanda', is all set for a grand pan-India release on September 25. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, this marks the fourth dynamic collaboration between the two, promising to surpass the original in intensity, visuals, and scale.

Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, the film features an ensemble cast including Samyukta as the female lead and Aadi Pinisetty in a fiery role. The teaser, released as a birthday gift to Balakrishna on June 10, has already taken social media by storm with its powerful visuals and goosebump-inducing moments.

The teaser opens with the spiritual intensity of snow-clad Kailash and Nandi’s trident, setting the tone for a story steeped in divine ferocity. Balakrishna’s portrayal of an Aghora is both intense and captivating, delivering a powerful line that resonates deeply: “That Yama does not look at me without the permission of my Lord Shiva…”

The mass-appeal action scenes choreographed by Ram-Lakshman and supported by Thaman’s electrifying background score amplify the film’s grandeur. Every frame exudes richness, with top-tier technical work by cinematographer C Ramprasad, editor Tammiraju, and art director AS Prakash. The film is currently being shot in scenic Georgia, with high-energy sequences in progress.

With expectations soaring, 'Akhanda 2: Tandavam' is all set to storm the box office this September.
