Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited entertainer Mega157, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is moving into its second filming phase, with Mussoorie as its latest backdrop. Following an energetic first schedule in Hyderabad, the team has now shifted gears to the scenic hills of Uttarakhand. This fresh schedule, which began today, will feature lead actress Nayanthara, popular comedian VTV Ganesh, and other supporting actors who were not part of the initial leg.

Chiranjeevi, known recently for his high-octane and action-packed roles, will be seen in a lighthearted and humorous avatar, marking a refreshing departure for his fans. The actor shot some laughter-filled sequences under Anil Ravipudi’s direction during the Hyderabad schedule. According to sources, the current shoot in Mussoorie will capture more entertaining scenes that highlight the actor’s comedic timing, which has been missed on screen for years.

A new teaser video has also surfaced online, offering fans a heartwarming visual of Chiranjeevi sitting atop a table in a schoolyard while uniformed children approach him. Set against a gentle score composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, the clip carries a nostalgic warmth, blending the actor's screen charisma with emotional undertones. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy complements this vibe with rich visuals that aim to balance mass appeal with emotional storytelling.

Mega157 is being produced under two leading banners Sahu Garapati’s Shine Screens and Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments. The production team has confirmed that the movie is locked in for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release, aiming to captivate audiences during one of the most competitive festive seasons in Telugu cinema.
