On the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay’s 51st birthday, the makers of Jana Nayagan unveiled the electrifying First Roar, kicking off the journey of what will be Vijay’s final film. Produced by KVN Productions, this ambitious project marks a monumental chapter in Indian cinema, as Vijay brings the curtain down on his stellar career. The film is set for a massive worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026, and will be presented in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The First Roar was released at midnight and has taken social media by storm. It begins with Vijay’s iconic quote “En nenjil kudi irukum,” before revealing the actor in a commanding avatar dressed as a police officer and walking through a burning battleground with a sword in hand. Every frame resonates with power, purpose, and passion, boosted further by Anirudh Ravichander’s thunderous background score.
