Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt Reunite at F1 Premiere in London
Hollywood icons Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt lit up the red carpet as they reunited at the London premiere of Pitt's upcoming sports drama F1. The surprise appearance by Cruise thrilled fans, marking the duo’s first public moment together in over two decades. The actors, who last worked together in Interview with the Vampire (1994), were seen embracing and laughing at Cineworld Leicester Square, surrounded by fans and flashing cameras.
Cruise, 62, shared behind-the-scenes photos from the event on his X account, praising Pitt and the entire F1 team, captioning, "Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!" They were also joined by director Joseph Kosinski and longtime Cruise collaborator and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
The red carpet was filled with nostalgia as Cruise and Pitt posed in front of a sleek racing car echoing their shared love for adrenaline and speed. Pitt, now 61, recalled their '90s days of racing go-karts after shoots. “He got me in the end, I gotta admit,” Pitt joked in a recent interview, referencing Cruise’s need-for-speed edge.
Both actors have spoken highly of each other in recent months. While promoting his latest Mission: Impossible film, Cruise praised Pitt’s driving skills, saying, “Believe me, I’ve raced against him. It’s great to see Brad driving.” Pitt, in turn, told E! News that he wouldn't dare match Cruise's level of stunts: “I’m not going to hang my a** off an airplane.”
F1, directed by Kosinski and co-produced by Bruckheimer, tells the story of a retired Formula One driver, played by Pitt, who returns to the track to silence doubters. The film also stars Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia. It hits theatres worldwide on June 25, 2025.
With old-school charisma and mutual respect on display, the Cruise-Pitt reunion became the highlight of the F1 premiere—giving fans a dose of nostalgia and a glimpse of Hollywood’s enduring friendships.
