BTS J-Hope Handpicks ‘Killin’ It Girl Dancers via Social Media

In an exciting behind-the-scenes reveal, BTS member J-Hope shared that he personally selected all 14 dancers featured in his Killin’ It Girl music video through social media platforms. The video, which dropped on June 13, quickly gained immense popularity, reaching one million views just 43 minutes after its release.

In an Instagram clip shared by Kocowa, J-Hope is seen entering a dance studio, greeting the dancers with some smooth moves. The clip then cuts to his manager, who explains that J-Hope had searched for and recruited the dancers himself on social media.

J-Hope further revealed that it was the dancers' "vibes" that drew him to them. He shared, "They were all individual dancers. I suggested performing with them. For me, a person’s energy is very important. I think their vibes are very important too."

What’s even more interesting is that none of the dancers knew each other prior to this project. It was their first time coming together to perform, adding a unique element to the video’s energy.

The Killin’ It Girl music video, which features rapper GloRilla, has become an instant hit, showcasing the perfect blend of J-Hope's distinctive dance moves and the powerful energy of the dancers he handpicked. With the song already breaking records, it proves once again that J-Hope's keen eye for talent and his dedication to his craft are key factors in his success.
