Baahubali: The Epic to Release Worldwide with Standard Ticket Prices

High ticket prices have become a growing concern for moviegoers in recent years, particularly with the release of big-budget films. While audiences initially accepted premium pricing for grand-scale experiences, especially with SS Rajamouli’s blockbusters, the practice eventually became widespread even for smaller films drawing criticism from fans.

SS Rajamouli, who is currently working on a globe-trotting action-adventure film with Mahesh Babu, has surprised audiences with an unexpected move ahead of that release. His team is now bringing back the Baahubali saga in a fresh format titled Baahubali: The Epic, a recut and remastered version that combines both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into a seamless epic. The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on October 31, 2025.

Naturally, given Rajamouli’s reputation and the visual scale of Baahubali, many expected a ticket price hike for this special version. However, sources close to the production confirmed that there will be no increase in ticket prices, either in India or overseas markets. Even in countries where Telugu films often have premium pricing, Baahubali: The Epic will be available at standard ticket rates, making it more accessible to a wider audience.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah, with music composed by MM Keeravani. It is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, under Arka Mediaworks. To enhance the experience, Baahubali: The Epic will be released in premium formats including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, D-Box, and EpiQ, offering audiences the most visually stunning version ever created all without the extra cost.
