Will Ghaati Be Postponed Again? No Promotions, No Trailer, Is There Hope
Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi's long-awaited film Ghaati had finally set its release date for July 11, but with only 10 days remaining, a troubling silence from the makers has raised doubts about whether the film will be delayed once again. Despite announcing the release date, there has been a noticeable lack of buzz around the film. Promotions are non-existent, and crucial updates such as the trailer and pre-release events have not been scheduled.
The only update from the Ghaati team was the recent release of the song "Sailore," but the track failed to generate the excitement expected from a film of such stature. The song’s inability to spark anticipation for the movie has only deepened the sense of uncertainty surrounding its release. With less than 10 days left for the scheduled release, it seems unrealistic to expect a full promotional push, including a trailer and pre-release event, in such a short span of time.
If the promotional activities fail to gain momentum soon, it’s likely that Ghaati will face another delay, possibly pushing the release to August. This continuous delay is especially frustrating for fans who have been eagerly waiting for Anushka Shetty’s return to the big screen after a two-year hiatus. Her last film, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, released in 2023, was a significant event for her fans, making Ghaati even more highly anticipated.
For director Krish Jagarlamudi, the situation is equally challenging. After his last film, Kondapolam, in 2021, Krish was left disappointed by his departure from Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu due to constant delays. It seems that his struggles with film releases have continued with Ghaati, which has similarly suffered from repeated postponements.
The silence from the makers is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, and fans are left wondering whether the movie will ever release on its scheduled date or face yet another setback. As the release date draws closer, only time will tell whether Ghaati will finally make it to theaters or if another delay is inevitable.
