All Eyes on Veeramallu’s Big Opening: Pawan Kalyan's Impact on Film Promotion

Pawan Kalyan’s involvement in promoting Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Veeramallu) is expected to significantly boost the film's opening, ensuring a strong start for the period drama. Unlike films that rely solely on content to speak for itself, Veeramallu needs active promotion, and there’s no one better than Pawan Kalyan to handle it. Recognizing the importance of early buzz, Pawan has actively joined the promotional efforts, which is expected to bring a surge of attention and viewers.

In addition to Pawan Kalyan’s promotional push, the governments of both Telugu states have raised ticket prices, further boosting potential revenues for the film during its opening weekend. The hike in ticket prices by up to 200 rupees and 150 rupees for nearly two weeks should help the film if it attracts the right audience. Word of mouth will also play a significant role in driving viewers to the theatres, especially with the high price tags.

Early reports show that the premiere sales in North America are already promising, with Veeramallu grossing $406,126 from 446 locations and 1201 scheduled shows. The total North American premiere sales currently stand at around $450,000, reflecting a jump of over $100K since Pawan Kalyan’s involvement in the promotions. If the film manages to gain momentum in the next few days, it has a good chance of reaching the $1M mark for premiere sales.

Pawan Kalyan is expected to continue his promotional activities in Visakhapatnam and Mangalagiri, which could further influence the film’s success. Produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, Veeramallu is scheduled for release on July 24, with a special premiere the evening before. With these concerted efforts, the film is poised for a strong opening at the box office.
