Tamil stunt master and character artist Ponnambalam has once again opened up about a life-changing act of kindness from Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi. Known for his action roles in Tamil cinema, Ponnambalam has faced several health challenges in recent years, including a serious kidney-related illness. During one such difficult phase, when financial struggles added to his health crisis, he reached out to Chiranjeevi for help.

To his astonishment, the help he received went far beyond what he imagined. In a recent interview, Ponnambalam shared that he was expecting Chiranjeevi to offer around 1 lakh rupees. Instead, the Tollywood icon extended financial support amounting to more than 1 crore rupees over time. This gesture left the Tamil actor deeply touched, and he never misses an opportunity to publicly express his gratitude.

Ponnambalam recalled how Chiranjeevi’s assistance not only helped cover his medical expenses but also gave him the stability to recover fully.
