Megastar Chiranjeevi has officially teamed up with director Anil Ravipudi for a high-profile Telugu film that is generating considerable excitement in Tollywood. The film is jointly produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment, and was formally launched recently in Hyderabad. With production plans now shifting into high gear, regular shooting for the film is expected to commence shortly. The makers are eyeing a grand theatrical release during the Sankranthi 2026 festive season, which traditionally offers a golden window for Telugu blockbusters. As a result, the casting team is working aggressively to finalize the film’s female lead, with strong buzz indicating that popular South Indian actress Nayanthara is being considered for the role.

Sources reveal that discussions are currently underway between Nayanthara’s team and the film’s producers, although no official agreement has been signed. If Nayanthara does come on board, this will mark her third collaboration with Chiranjeevi. The duo previously shared screen space in Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, where she played the role of Chiru’s wife, and in Godfather, in which she portrayed his sister.
