Bhadrakali Actresses Thripti Ravindra And Riya Jithu Promise Impactful Thriller Experience

After the success of Margon, Vijay Antony is returning with another powerful project titled Bhadrakali. Directed by Arun Prabhu and produced by Rammanjeyulu Javvaji under Sharavanth Ram Creations, the movie is presented by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and Meera Vijay Antony. With strong promotional material already building buzz, Bhadrakali is set for release on September 19. At a recent press meet, lead actresses Thripti Ravindra and Riya Jithu shared their experiences and insights about working on the film.

Thripti Ravindra, originally from Maharashtra, revealed that this is her first Tamil film as a lead actress after working as a software engineer and featuring in commercials. She recalled how she received a call for auditions from director Arun Prabhu’s team and was selected after a successful look test. Thripti described her role as very relatable and designed with great clarity by the director. She added that working with Vijay Antony was a memorable experience and credited the director and producer for their constant support. She emphasized that Telugu audiences, known for celebrating cinema with enthusiasm, will connect strongly with this project and find it a beautiful and engaging experience.

Riya Jithu, a Malayali actress, also shared her journey, mentioning her early career as a child artist in around 15 films before taking a break for studies. Returning to the industry, she felt honored to be part of Vijay Antony’s 25th film, especially since she grew up listening to his music. Riya plays a unique role in Bhadrakali, which she says cannot be revealed fully yet but assured it is something audiences will remember. She praised Vijay Antony for his humble nature and noted how much she learned from him during the shoot.

The actress further commended director Arun Prabhu for his clear vision and producers for ensuring the film was made without compromises. She called Bhadrakali a story with powerful content that is deeply needed in today’s society. Confident in its appeal, she believes the impactful narrative will resonate with viewers across languages. Both actresses agreed that the film blends strong performances, impactful storytelling, and a social message that will leave a mark on audiences.
