Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha Teaser To Release On September 18 With Fierce Warrior Poster
Mohanlal is all set to return to the big screen with his ambitious new period epic Vrusshabha. The makers have officially announced that the first teaser will release on September 18, unveiling the much-awaited world of this large-scale drama.
The announcement came with a striking new poster featuring Mohanlal in a fierce warrior avatar, holding a trident and shield. His intense look in the poster has amplified expectations around the film, which promises a blend of action, emotions, and grand visuals. Sharing the update on social media, the superstar wrote, “The Battles, The Emotions, The Roar. Vrusshabha teaser drops on 18th September.”
Earlier this year, the makers had released the first look on Mohanlal’s birthday, setting the tone for the film’s grandeur. Vrusshabha marks the actor’s third outing in the period action space after Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and Malaikottai Vaaliban. While those films drew attention but struggled commercially, Vrusshabha is expected to strike a balance between large-scale battle sequences and a more emotional narrative rooted in a father-son relationship spanning generations.
Directed by Nanda Kishore, the film is being simultaneously shot in Malayalam and Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi and Kannada to ensure pan-Indian reach. The project is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek Vyas Studios. Music is composed by Sam CS, while the sound design is handled by Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty, raising expectations for a technically impressive cinematic experience.
Mohanlal was last seen in Hridayapoorvam alongside Malavika Mohanan and Sangita Madhavan Nair, where he delivered yet another appreciated performance. With Vrusshabha, he now aims to deliver a visually powerful and emotionally resonant saga that blends scale with storytelling. Fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser release on September 18, which will reveal the first glimpse of this highly anticipated epic.
