Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a crucial meeting with the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation, assuring workers of government-backed welfare and growth initiatives. Stressing that Hyderabad should emerge as a global film hub similar to Hollywood, he urged industry members to share their concerns directly with the state government.

The meeting, attended by senior representatives including Dil Raju, Vallabhaneeni Anil, and Ammiraju Kaanumilli, focused on addressing challenges faced by cinema workers. Revanth Reddy highlighted the importance of a healthy working environment, cautioning that frequent strikes and disputes hurt both workers and producers. He promised that the government would actively intervene to resolve such issues and protect the livelihoods of those in the industry.

In a major boost to the workforce, the CM announced that Skills University will provide specialized training programs to improve the technical and professional expertise of cinema employees. He also appealed to producers, especially small-budget filmmakers, to utilize Telangana for shooting projects, thereby strengthening the local film economy.

Revanth Reddy further declared that the state government will soon introduce a health insurance scheme exclusively for film workers. Additionally, he confirmed the continuation of welfare programs, including initiatives like the Gaddar Awards, ensuring recognition and support for those contributing to the growth of Tollywood. This meeting marks a significant step in aligning government policies with the aspirations of the Telugu film fraternity, signaling a stronger partnership between the state and the entertainment sector.
