Actor Adivi Sesh is gearing up for his next release, Dacoit, a romantic action entertainer that pairs him with Mrunal Thakur for the first time. The film marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under the Annapurna Studios banner, in association with SS Creations. Adding to the excitement, acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap plays a key supporting role in the project.

Originally slated for a Christmas 2025 release, the makers have officially announced that Dacoit will now hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Ugadi festival. The shift aims to take advantage of the long weekend and festive season. The new release poster showcases an intense Adivi Sesh aiming a gun from inside a car, alongside Mrunal Thakur, hinting at high-stakes drama and emotional depth.

Earlier, the makers released a teaser introducing audiences to a gritty world of love, betrayal, and power. Adivi Sesh’s grey-shaded character drew strong buzz online, teasing a role unlike anything he’s done before. With its combination of stylish action, strong performances, and festival timing, Dacoit is shaping up to be one of Telugu cinema’s most awaited releases of 2026.
