Shakira Stuns At Zootopia 2 Premiere With Kids, Reveals Their Cute Cameo As Bunnies

Shakira made a memorable appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Zootopia 2, arriving with her sons Milan and Sasha in matching purple outfits that instantly captured attention on the red carpet. Returning as the voice of Gazelle in the highly anticipated Disney sequel, the singer shared that her children were more involved than ever in her creative journey this time. She said that while they were too young during the first film, they were old enough now to observe every stage of the production. Shakira explained that her sons even sat with her during music sessions, watching her work on parts of Zoo, her new song featured in the film. She added that her kids often voiced their opinions during development and naturally inherited her strong sense of expression.

The singer revealed that Milan and Sasha did more than just accompany her through the process—they also secured cute cameo roles in the movie. Shakira said her sons appear as bunnies, a small but exciting part of the film that made the premiere even more special for them as a family. Ahead of the movie’s release, Shakira dropped the official music video for Zoo, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, which blends visuals inspired by her character Gazelle with exclusive scenes from the film. The video showcases iconic locations from the Zootopia universe, including the Zootenial Gala, the Zootopia Express, and a dramatic cliffside, while spotlighting beloved characters Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Gary De’Snake, and Nibbles Maplestick.

Composer Michael Giacchino returns to create the film’s score, set to release as part of the full soundtrack on November 21. Zootopia 2 continues the adventures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they take on a twisting mystery sparked by the arrival of Gary De’Snake, whose presence disrupts the entire city. Their investigation forces them undercover in strange new neighborhoods, putting their partnership to the test. Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and featuring a star-studded voice cast including Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson, and Nate Torrence, the film arrives in theatres on November 28 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
