Earlier, the director of Bholaa Shankar, Meher Ramesh created a controversy by saying that Vedhalam has 10X more cringe than Bholaa Shankar.
The director claimed that he has removed the cringe content from Vedhalam and has packed Bholaa Shankar with better screenplay.
"Vedalam has 10 times more cringe scenes than those you are referring to as "cringe" in the Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar trailer, but I haven't shot them. Instead, I've modified the screenplay to create an entirely different film." - Bholaa Shankar Director Meher Ramesh said in a interview.
Then, Meher Ramesh was quick to change his word and he altered his stance on the film and went on to praise it.

Vimanam, an intense social drama featuring versatile actor Samuthirakani in the lead role had its theatrical release very recently. The film was appreciated as an honest attempt by a section of the crticis and it did manage to cater to a section of netizens. The latest news is that the film is headed for its OTT release now.
