Nandamuri Balakrishna to Sing Again for Gopichand Malineni’s NBK111

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s passion for music and singing is well known among fans, and his energetic performances at public events often turn into memorable highlights. The actor had earlier surprised audiences by lending his voice to the popular song Mama Ek Peg La in the film Paisa Vasool, directed by Puri Jagannadh. The song went on to become a major chartbuster and was loved by audiences across different age groups. After that success, Balakrishna did not sing for his films, though he continued to entertain fans by performing songs at various events.

Now, Balakrishna is all set to return as a singer, and this time it will be for NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film marks the sixth consecutive collaboration between Balakrishna and music director Thaman, making them one of the most successful and consistent actor–composer combinations in Telugu cinema today. Their previous films together have delivered memorable soundtracks, and expectations are naturally high for this project as well. Gopichand Malineni also shares a strong creative bond with Thaman, having worked with him on hits like Krack, Balupu, and Veera Simha Reddy.

Thaman recently confirmed that Balakrishna will indeed sing a song in NBK111. He revealed that the actor sings exceptionally well and that the team is planning a full-fledged, powerful track. According to Thaman, the film is a period drama set in the era of kingdoms, and the song will carry strong vibrations similar in intensity to Saahore Baahubali from Baahubali 2, which was sung by Daler Mehndi. This confirmation has generated significant excitement among fans.

NBK111 is being made as a high-scale action drama with a historical backdrop, featuring Nayanthara as the female lead. The shoot is expected to begin in the coming weeks. Acclaimed cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, who earned praise for his work in Kantara, is handling the visuals. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. With Balakrishna turning singer once again and a strong technical team on board, NBK111 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu films in the coming months.
