The much-anticipated sequel of Kalki 2898 AD has officially begun filming, and fans are already buzzing with excitement over the big behind-the-scenes moments. Recently, stylist Amritha Ram confirmed the commencement of the shoot, but it was none other than Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan who shared the most significant update.
Taking to his Tumblr account, Big B revealed that he had resumed filming for the sequel, much to the delight of his fans. However, the update came with a little twist. Many fans believed he was at his Mumbai residence, Jalsa, where they had gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the actor. But Amitabh clarified that he was, in fact, in Hyderabad for the shoot of Kalki 2898 AD and even posted photos of fans outside his Mumbai home.
Amitabh also shared a special moment from the sets where he met Kamal Haasan, reminiscing about their old collaboration in the film Geraftaar. This reunion is exciting for fans of both legendary actors who share a history of iconic roles in Indian cinema.
Amitabh Bachchan will reprise his role as Ashwatthama in the sequel, a character that has generated much anticipation. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is now moving forward with the next phase of production. Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Prabhas, who has already allocated dates to join the shoot.
