Ahead of the release of Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) on April 10, 2026, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and his wife, actor-producer Nayanthara, visited the Tirupati temple to offer prayers. The couple was dressed in traditional attire, with Nayanthara wearing a white kurta and green printed dupatta, while Vignesh Shivan wore a saffron kurta and silk dhoti. During their visit, they interacted with fans and posed for photographs after their darshan.

Love Insurance Kompany is a sci-fi romantic thriller featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and SJ Suryah in key roles. Set in 2040, the film explores a futuristic world where a company insures love. The protagonist, who works with an app that predicts relationship risks, experiences his own love life being manipulated by the system, leading to a unique and thrilling narrative.

Vignesh Shivan reunites with music composer Anirudh for this project, and the film also features a strong supporting cast including Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Shah Ra, and Mysskin. Produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, along with SS Lalit Kumar, Love Insurance Kompany has been highly anticipated after several delays.

Aside from LIK, Nayanthara is busy with multiple projects in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, including Dear Students, Patriot, and Rakkayie. The actress continues to be a significant presence in the industry, having recently appeared in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and The Test.
