The speculation surrounding Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s future in cinema has been finally put to rest. Actor and politician Srinath, who is contesting from the Thoothukudi constituency for Vijay’s political party, clarified in a recent interview that Vijay will not be returning to acting after his upcoming film Jana Nayagan. He confirmed that the film, which is expected to be Vijay’s final project, would be the actor's swan song in the film industry.
Srinath addressed rumors that had circulated regarding Vijay’s potential return to cinema after Jana Nayagan. Speaking exclusively to a leading tabloid, Srinath emphatically denied these rumors, stating that Vijay intends to step away from films entirely to dedicate his focus to politics. This announcement should put an end to the ongoing speculation about Vijay's acting career.
Vijay is awaiting the release of Jana Nayagan, a highly anticipated film directed by H. Vinoth. The film, which also stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, and Mamitha Baiju in prominent roles, was initially slated for a Pongal release but was delayed due to censor issues. Now, the movie is expected to hit screens soon, marking Vijay’s final appearance on the big screen. As Vijay moves forward in his political journey, his fans are eager to see what the future holds for him beyond the realm of cinema. However, for now, it is clear that Jana Nayagan will be his final cinematic venture.
