The trailer of Carry On Jatta 4 has arrived, giving Punjabi cinema fans a fresh look at one of the industry’s most popular comedy franchises. The film brings back familiar faces, fast-paced confusion and the family-friendly madness that helped the earlier Carry On Jatta films build a strong following among Punjabi audiences in India and overseas.
Starring Gippy Grewal, Sargun Mehta, Binnu Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Shinda Grewal, Pukhraj Bhalla, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Jasmine Bajwa and Sweetaj Brar, the trailer suggests that the fourth film will continue the franchise’s formula of mistaken situations, loud comic exchanges and character-driven humour. The chemistry between Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon remains one of the key highlights, while Sargun Mehta’s entry adds more energy to the story.
Jaswinder Bhalla tribute adds emotional value
One of the biggest talking points of the Carry On Jatta 4 trailer is the tribute to late actor Jaswinder Bhalla. The trailer opens with his picture on a wall, immediately creating an emotional connection for viewers who followed his work in the franchise. The makers have also used VFX and computer-generated visuals to recreate his presence on screen, making the tribute a major nostalgic element.
This decision may attract longtime fans who associate Jaswinder Bhalla with the comic identity of Carry On Jatta. While the trailer mainly focuses on laughter, the emotional throwback gives the film an added layer beyond regular comedy. For a franchise built on repeat characters and familiar humour, this tribute could become one of the strongest audience-pull factors.
Nostalgia and box office clash raise curiosity
The trailer also brings back the memorable “Ghodi” ladder, one of the most recognizable elements from the original Carry On Jatta film. Its return is clearly designed to connect with old fans and remind them of the franchise’s early comic moments. This mix of old references and new confusion gives the trailer a balance of nostalgia and fresh entertainment.
Carry On Jatta 4 is scheduled to release in theatres on June 26. The film will face box office competition from Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle, making the release date more interesting for trade watchers. However, the Punjabi comedy franchise already has a loyal fan base, and the trailer’s mix of humour, cast reunion, Jaswinder Bhalla tribute and nostalgic callbacks may help it draw strong attention in theatres.
