Keeravani reportedly confirmed during his US tour that he will begin working intensively on the film’s background score in September 2026.
The composer is expected to spend nearly five months completing the score, with the principal music work targeted for completion by January 2027. Further sound mixing, visual-effects coordination and post-production processes are then expected to continue as the makers prepare the film for its worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
Varanasi Music Expected To Drive The Epic Experience
Music and sound have traditionally played important roles in Rajamouli’s large-scale films, particularly during action sequences, emotional confrontations and mythological moments.
