Spider-Man: Brand New Day Crosses $1 Billion Worldwide

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed $1 billion worldwide within six days, becoming one of the fastest films to achieve the milestone. Strong North American collections and massive international earnings have powered the Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios film to record-breaking box-office success.

Spider-Man Crosses $1 Billion In Six Days

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has joined the billion-dollar club after racing past $1 billion at the worldwide box office in only six days. The superhero film has reportedly collected about $1.05 billion globally, powered by an estimated $407 million in North America and $645.8 million from international markets.

The achievement makes the fourth Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film one of the fastest movies ever to reach the milestone. Avengers: Endgame remains ahead after reaching the billion-dollar mark during its record-breaking opening run in 2019. The rapid rise of Brand New Day gives Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios another major theatrical success and underlines the continuing strength of the Spider-Man franchise.

Global Box Office Records Fall

The film opened strongly across major markets and maintained its momentum beyond the weekend. Its reported North American performance included a huge opening frame, while international audiences contributed the larger share of the worldwide total. Advance bookings, premium-format screenings and positive audience response helped the movie attract crowds during both the weekend and weekdays.

Brand New Day has also reportedly become the fastest film to reach $407 million in North America. Its domestic opening challenged records previously associated with Avengers: Endgame, showing that demand for event-scale superhero films remains high when a popular character and major theatrical spectacle come together.

Monday Collection Adds Another Milestone

The Spider-Man sequel reportedly earned $47 million in North America on its first Monday, surpassing the earlier Monday benchmark associated with Black Panther. That weekday performance is significant because major releases commonly experience a sharp drop after their opening weekend.

Instead, the film continued to pull audiences into theatres, supported by social-media conversation and interest in Peter Parker’s new journey. The sustained collections have already encouraged speculation that the movie could challenge the $2 billion worldwide mark, although its final total will depend on weekday stability and performance in the coming weeks.

Story And Cast Drive Audience Interest

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Tom Holland’s fourth solo movie as Peter Parker. The story follows Peter after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, with the world no longer remembering his identity. Living alone in New York, he dedicates himself to being a full-time Spider-Man while facing growing pressure and a dangerous physical change.

Zendaya returns as MJ and Jacob Batalon reprises his role as Ned Leeds. The ensemble also includes Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo. The returning characters, new additions and a more isolated Peter Parker have helped make Brand New Day one of 2026’s biggest theatrical events.
