Mahendragiri Varahi Trailer Unveils a Deadly Family Curse

Mahendragiri Varahi Trailer Unveils a Deadly Family Curse

Sumanth’s upcoming spiritual mystery thriller Mahendragiri Varahi blends divine mythology, a deadly family curse and an investigation into unexplained deaths, with Aishwarya Rajesh appearing as Goddess Varahi.

A Village Haunted by a Deadly Curse

Directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi, Mahendragiri Varahi is set in the mysterious village of Mahendragiri, where faith, fear and long-buried secrets shape the lives of its residents. The central conflict revolves around Goddess Varahi and a terrifying curse affecting the men of the Mahendragiri family. According to the belief passed down through generations, every male member of the family is destined to die after reaching the age of 33. These repeated deaths have created an atmosphere of uncertainty and dread, leaving the family trapped between spiritual explanations and an undiscovered truth.

Sumanth Searches for the Truth

Sumanth plays the central character who enters Mahendragiri determined to investigate the mysterious deaths. His arrival sets the story in motion as he begins examining the curse, the family’s history and the village’s connection to Goddess Varahi. The investigation appears to place him in increasingly dangerous situations, forcing him to question whether the deaths are caused by supernatural forces or by someone using fear and faith to conceal a darker conspiracy. The film positions his character as the link between the village’s disturbing past and the truth waiting to be uncovered.

Trailer Promises Suspense and Spiritual Mystery

The recently released trailer presents an intriguing combination of suspense, mythology and supernatural mystery. Its haunting village setting, religious imagery and tense confrontations suggest that the film will explore both devotion and fear without revealing the full explanation behind the curse. Aishwarya Rajesh appears in the powerful role of Goddess Varahi, adding a divine dimension to the narrative. Siddu Jonnalagadda also makes a cameo appearance, which has generated additional curiosity about how his character connects to the central mystery.

Cast, Production and Release Date

Alongside Sumanth and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film features Minakshi Goswami, Malvika Nair, Brahmanandam and Vennela Kishore in important roles. The mix of dramatic and comic performers may help balance the film’s darker spiritual themes with emotional and entertaining moments. The project is produced by Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films, with Santhossh Jagarlapudi directing the mystery-driven narrative.

Mahendragiri Varahi is scheduled to arrive in theatres on September 11. With its unusual curse-based premise, mythological foundation and suspenseful trailer, the film aims to offer more than a conventional thriller. Its central question—whether the Mahendragiri family is facing divine punishment, a supernatural force or a carefully hidden human plot—is likely to remain the film’s biggest source of intrigue until its theatrical release.
