M.S. Raju’s mystical supernatural thriller Agadha is preparing for its digital premiere after completing its theatrical journey. The Telugu film will begin streaming on ZEE5 Telugu from September 25, offering viewers another opportunity to experience its atmospheric story of spirituality, mythology, fear and unexplained events.
Kamakshi Bhaskarla plays the central character, Mahadevi, a spiritually gifted woman whose life changes after the suicide of her cousin. When a series of mysterious deaths follows the tragedy, Mahadevi begins searching for answers. Her investigation gradually takes her beyond the boundaries of ordinary experience and into a dangerous world shaped by ancient beliefs and supernatural forces.
The film also features Shravan Reddy, Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, Roshan Basheer, Bhanu Chander and Vanitha Vijayakumar in important roles. The ensemble supports a narrative designed to combine emotional conflict with mystery and mythology-inspired suspense.
Agadha explores faith, fear and the unknown
Mahadevi’s search eventually leads her to a forbidden cave located deep inside a forest. There, she encounters an unknown supernatural force called Agadha. The discovery pushes her into a frightening journey in which faith and logic are repeatedly tested.
Director M.S. Raju presents the story through a mixture of supernatural mystery and spiritual symbolism. Instead of relying entirely on conventional horror elements, Agadha attempts to build tension through its setting, mythology and the questions surrounding the unexplained deaths.
The forest, the mysterious cave and Mahadevi’s spiritual abilities form the foundation of the film’s atmospheric world. As she moves closer to the truth, the distinction between belief, fear and reality becomes increasingly uncertain.
Agadha to stream on ZEE5 Telugu
Agadha has been produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner. Nani Chamidisetty handled the cinematography, while Rakesh Venkatapuram composed the music. Junaid Siddiqui served as the film’s editor.
The OTT release is expected to introduce Agadha to a wider audience, particularly viewers interested in supernatural thrillers and stories rooted in mythology. Streaming platforms have become an important destination for genre-driven Telugu films, allowing them to connect with audiences beyond their initial theatrical run.
