Nani’s The Paradise has gained a longer stretch before the arrival of Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ Aadarsha Kutumbam, also known as AK 47. The family entertainer, previously scheduled for October 2, will now release worldwide on October 9. Producer Naga Vamsi said the team needed more time to deliver the experience it had promised and apologised to audiences for the wait.
The date change creates a wider gap between the two Telugu releases. The Paradise is set for premieres on September 23, while AK 47 is now expected to hold overseas premieres on October 8 ahead of its October 9 theatrical release. For The Paradise, that means another week to build on its opening without AK 47 entering theatres on October 2. How much the film benefits will depend on audience response after its premieres and first weekend.
What the new date means for AK 47
AK 47 also gets a clearer arrival of its own. Moving away from October 2 gives the Venkatesh and Trivikram film more time to finish and promote its release, while placing it in the Dussehra period. The decision may help both films find their audiences, although a favourable calendar alone cannot guarantee a strong box-office run.
The October schedule will still become crowded. Gulte lists Jailer 2 and Ranabaali among the notable films expected on October 15 and 16, respectively. If those plans hold, AK 47 will have about a week before the next major releases arrive. Its ability to keep screens beyond that point will depend on reviews, word of mouth and demand during the holiday period.
For now, the confirmed change is straightforward: AK 47 has moved from October 2 to October 9. The Paradise opens first, and the extra space between the films gives each a distinct opening window. The coming days will show whether the schedule change translates into a longer theatrical run for Nani’s film and a stronger start for Venkatesh’s family entertainer.
